Hong Kong Announces PCS Licence Winners
The Honk Kong government finally announced at the weekend, the winning
bidders for six new
Personal Communications Services licences. The licences have gone to
Hutchinson Telephone
Company Ltd, Mandarin Communications Ltd, New World PCS Ltd, P-Plus
Communications
Ltd, Pacific Link Communication Ltd and People's Telephone Company Ltd.
The six operators
are expected to invest HKD6 billion in developing the services over the
next few years.
